1. Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer’s networks and in house servers.
2. Install and integrate new server hardware and applications.
3. Keep an eye out for needed updates.
4. Support and administer third-party applications.
5. Ensure network security and connectivity.
6. Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.
7. Set up users accounts, permissions and passwords.
8. Resolve problems reported by end users.
9. Define network policies and procedures.
10. Specify system requirements and design solutions.
11. Research and make recommendations on server system administration.
